Shannon Stuht down here at St. Albert Dodge with another beautiful truck on a beautiful day. I have a 2017 Ram 1500 Limited in the colour of Diamond Black Crystal Pearl coat which is super cool. It’s got a nice sparkle to it, as you can see here in the sun. I’m very excited to go over some of the great features of this. As you know, it is our Limited, our highest Trim level which is a remarkable vehicle when you look down into what the features have to provide.
You got your running boards down below, and they are wheel to wheel, giving you that access to be able to get back up into the bed of your truck. And in this truck as well, you’re going to find that it has the spray-in box liner and LED bed lighting which can be controlled from the inside of the truck and you have your wonderful Limited badging all around the outside of the truck. Now, sitting in the Limited truck here, you’ll find out we have all the features, necessities that you can possibly want in a vehicle including your Power Sunroof which is beautiful on a great day like this. With one touch of the button, we can open up our Sunroof. One cool feature the Sunroof that a lot of people don’t think of is just here. It has a wind visor which is helping to keep the air to go out of the vehicle rather than coming in and making more cab noise. So, it’s just one little feature that you might notice will make your ride more enjoyable. That being said as well, our all-new in-cluster display as well as our 8.4-inch Uconnect system, I do believe, it’s one of the best in the market, if not the best. The first time you use it, we’re all pretty tech-savvy now these days. You should be able to go on do it, figure it out with just tap or touches on the buttons and then you’ll find just how much capability there is in this kind of a truck. So, it’s cool when you get on to here; you can both play your phone there’s music over the Bluetooth, as well as receive calls.
As you look down below here, we have the 4-wheel auto system. What I’d like to touch on this system is it’s great for keeping you both safe on the road and for fuel economy. What it will do is, it will switch between 4-wheel drive and rear wheel drive according to the weather or road conditions. I like to tell people this because you know, it’s something you don’t have to think about. You just put it in 4-wheel auto off you go. You feel confident driving your vehicle, and it just makes for an enjoyable ride. We do have heated and ventilated seats. As you know, we are approaching the summer times, so we’re always thinking about remote starting and putting our heated seats on. Well now, you can ventilate your seats which with leather seats as you know is a pretty, pretty nice feature to have.
So, our in-cluster display here is rather in-depth that it gives you a lot of different functionality to work with, the first being that you can view your current fuel economy. Just seeing how efficient that new 8-speed transmission, as well as our MDS system with our Dodge Ram HEMI, is. That MDS system I did speak of is a Multi-Displacement System. It gives you the capability to switch from 8 cylinders down to 4 cylinders when the truck doesn’t need the optimum power, and as soon as you do need that extra power, it will kick in the extra 4 cylinders making it 8 cylinders. Pulling back into St. Albert Dodge here, the last thing I want to show you is if you step out of the truck here with me. I’ll pop the hood to our Ram 1500 Limited so that I can show you our product exclusive Dodge Ram HEMI.
